Congratulations to Harrison on his Maitland Local AECG Pathways Award. Harrison is an integral part of Aboriginal education within our school. As the Vice President of our JAECG, Harrison has demonstrated growing leadership skills throughout the year. He has played an important role in the organisation and running of whole school events, such as NAIDOC and the Great Indigenous Book Swap, as well as providing support for our younger Aboriginal students through discussions about culture and identity. Harrison is always willing to assist teachers and other students and is an asset to our community. I'm sure you will all agree that this outstanding young man has earned this award.
